Prosperity Witch Bottle
Manifest success and abundance with my Prosperity Spell Bottle, individually handmade with century-old witchcraft knowledge. The process and ingredients I use when crafting spell bottles has been passed down in my family since the late 1800’s from my great-grandmother, Margaret Callan.
My great-grandmother crafted her witch bottles using “draíocht le sreath”, or “layered magic”. She believed spells were not single acts of intention but carefully constructed workings, where each element reinforced the others, creating a result far greater than the sum of its parts. I craft my Prosperity Spell Bottle with 6 layers of magical energy, making it an exceptionally powerful talisman for manifesting success and abundance.

Magical Layers
Moon Energy – Various moon phases in witchcraft offer unique energies that enhance certain types of spellwork. Prosperity Bottles are crafted only during the waxing moon, regarded as the moon’s most fertile phase fostering growth and abundance.
Wax Sealing – Once sealed, you should never open your witch bottle. This would risk losing the magical energy accumulated within the vessel along with the negative forces it had absorbed. My Prosperity Witch Bottle is sealed using gold wax, a color representing wealth and success. This amplifies the bottle’s ability to manifest abundance while keeping it safe from outside influence and accidental openings.
Color Binding – Colors are used in spellwork for the various energies they provide. Along with the gold seal, I wrap the Prosperity Bottle neck in green ribbon, a color representing luck and vitality. This reinforces its ability to manifest growth and success.
Etched Symbol – Symbols play a central role in spell casting due to the intense meaning and energy associated with them. For my Prosperity Bottle, I engrave the Rune Fehu (ᚠ), an ancient Nordic symbol of prosperity and new beginnings. The physical engraving of this symbol into the glass energizes the glass itself with magical energy and amplifies the power of its ingredients.
Intent – To activate a spell bottle, an individual must bind their intent to it. Originally called an “òran draíochta”, today we call it an incantation. The voice and mind carries the essence of one’s spirit. Verbalizing one’s intent directly to the bottle awakens the magic within and tethers it to the individual, ensuring the spell works in harmony with your intention. I’ve included my personal òran draíochta with the Prosperity Bottle, but please feel free to craft your own incantation to personalize your spell.
